Melanin Mommy Therapy, LLC. is a growing private practice located in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to provide services to individuals struggling with an array of mental health issues. Melanin Mommy Therapy services adolescent, teen, young adult, adult, and geriatric clients.

Melanin Mommy Therapy, LLC. is currently looking to expand by adding 1-2 licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social worker, and/or marriage and family therapist who have experience working with a very diverse population. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with couples, individuals, and families. The candidate for this position, should be knowledgeable with technology and/or able to rapidly learn.

Counselor Requirements:

• Fully licensed LPC or LCSW or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania. Must be willing to get on insurance panels.

• Provide counseling/talk therapy to scheduled patients utilizing professional counseling standards

• Provide EHR documentation of counseling sessions, assessments, interventions, and recommendations

• Maintain appropriate documentation of clinical and counseling services in EHR

• Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education

• Formulates short-term and long-term counseling plans for clients under care

• Formulates differential diagnosis of mild to moderate mental health conditions

• Flexible hours and schedule

• Self-starter, ability to work independently
